Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager for the ARMY Division.

 

JOB DETAILS

LOCATION: Pentagon, Washington D.C.

JOB STATUS: Full Time

TRAVEL: Estimated at 30%

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

 

EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical discipline.

CERTIFICATIONS:

One, or more, of the following technical certifications or equivalent is preferred:

  • Program Management Institute (PMI), Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • PMI Program Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP)
  • DAWIA – Test and Evaluation and\or Program Management – Advanced \ Level 3

 

EXPERIENCE LEVEL: A minimum of six years of relevant experience with the most recent experience occurring within the last five years.  Minimum experience includes engineering support across the multi-domain operating environment that included T&E infrastructure, tools, prototype design, development, and implementation. One or more of the managed programs/projects must have included land, air, Maritime, space/near space, cyber, or Electromagnetic Spectrum. Experience must demonstrate collaboration across DoD organizational lines, serving as a thought leader in cybersecurity, data, and system engineering, and effectively represented the organization in complex discussions with senior officials and private sector executives.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Top Secret, SCI Eligible, US Citizens only

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The TD is a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness, reliability, and compliance with the rigorous T&E processes and shall act as an official liaison to SIPET Action Officers of the Technical Director (OTD) ensuring technical alignment with DOT&E strategic goals in support of DoD T&E enterprise-wide missions and activities. The TD is responsible for the quality and efficiency of implementing the Director’s strategic vision to keep pace with advances in science and technology, and transforming T&E tools, processes, infrastructure, and the workforce. The TD role is multifaceted, demanding a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and industry certifications.

  • This posting is a candidate for a “Key Position” under the DOT&E SIPET Task Order; candidate must sign a Letter of Intent to begin work on first day of Period of Performance.
