Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a DoD acquisition subject matter expert for the Engineering, Professional, and Administrative Support Services contract, supporting the Air Force Division.

JOB DETAILS

LOCATION: San Antonio, TX

JOB STATUS: FT

TRAVEL:  5%

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• 15 years relevant experience of which 10 years must be in DoD acquisition program management
• Current Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Experience in an ACAT I program office
• Comfortable working and communicating with senior military leaders

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Investigates, analyzes, plans, evaluates, drafts and/or recommends solutions for project/program efforts.
• Provides expert-level issue resolution and recommendations support to achieve desired program outcomes.
• Applies broad knowledge of organizational missions and programs, such as acquisition management and modernization planning.
• Applies knowledge of and expertise with acquisition management, program management, budget/finance principles and methodologies, modernization planning, in the planning, programming, budgeting, and executing (PPBE) process.
• Reviews initial and revised acquisition documents and provides the enterprise-level perspective to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Provides comments on acquisition documentation that add value from an enterprise perspective and facilitates an integrated, system-of-systems approach across the division.
