Electrical Power Systems Engineer for HALO

Be the Difference

Astrion offers comprehensive services that boost preparedness, optimize performance, and ensure success across various domains, from Cyber to Digital, Mission and Systems, servicing our nation's Civilian, Defense and Space communities. We support customers with Centers of Excellence in Washington DC, Huntsville, AL and Burlington, MA with an additional 36 locations across the U.S.

Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Power Systems Engineer for HALO for the JETS II Contract, supporting the Space Division.

We are looking for an Electrical Power Systems (EPS) Engineer to support Gateway's Habitation and Logistics Outpost (HALO) project. HALO is the first pressurized module for NASA's Gateway, an outpost that will orbit the moon and provide a temporary home and workplace for astronauts. This is your chance to be an interface, or bridge, between the EPS and flight software teams. You will need to learn HALO's EPS system and how it works. Then, you will help review/tailor the software algorithms to ensure the software is performing the required functions at the correct time. This is an oversight role that will not need to write software/code, but will need to understand what is needed, review it, and provide comments.
