Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Graphics/Proposal Desktop Publisher for the Corporate Office, supporting the Proposal Department.

LOCATION: Washington D.C., Huntsville, AL, Remote

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or related field
  • 3-7 years of experience with graphics development communications for the government sector (ideally with graphics experience for proposals)
  • High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
  • Proficiency in graphics, formatting, and layout required.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite Products
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment is required.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Experience with website design, maintenance, and content development

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support Business Development department with editorial / layout design and creation of infographics for pursuit and proposal efforts.
  • Work with proposal authors, subject matter experts, and technical consultants to develop graphics for incorporation into management, technical, past performance, plans, and cost narrative documents for Astrion proposals.
  • Provide graphics, formatting, and layout support for corporate materials such as: briefings, oral discussions for proposals, marketing material, recruitment flyers, capabilities statements, etc.
  • Develop Microsoft Word templates that conform to specific request for proposal (RFP) formatting requirements.
  • Prepare all documents for proposal delivery to ensure the documents meet the specific formatting requirements of the RFP, are within the specified page count, and are easy to read.
