Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Unit Logistics Program Support for the Tenants Contract, supporting the Air Force Division at U.S. Special Operations Command, Detachment 1, (USSOCOM Det 1) at Eglin AFB, FL.

 

JOB DETAILS:

LOCATION: Eglin AFB, FL

JOB STATUS: Full Time

TRAVEL: 10%

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

 

  • Master’s degree or additional applicable experience.
  • 10 years applicable experience.
  • Hold and maintain Active Secret Security Clearance (US citizenship required).
  • Broad skills with the interworking of a military unit

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Specific experience with Facility Management, Flightline Drivers Program, Land Mobile Radio (LMR) custodian, Vehicle Control, Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) and Anti-Terror Programs at Air Force unit is highly desired.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Advise and assist working at USSOCOM Det 1 maintaining the following programs: Facility Manager, Flightline Drivers Program, Land Mobile Radio (LMR) custodian, assistant Vehicle Control Officer, HAZMAT and Anti-Terror Programs.
  • Advise and assist with the duties for the above program, specifically:
    • Plan and budget facility repairs and building projects with base civil engineering.
    • Coordinate with the appropriate agencies to procure necessary building supplies.
    • Ensure buildings are maintained to the applicable inspection standards.
    • Maintain flightline drivers program to include certifying new drivers.
    • Maintain LMR program which includes physical security and working with base agencies for proper software upgrades.
    • Assist in maintaining the USSOCOM Det 1 Vehicle program.
    • Assist USSOCOM Det 1 Anti-Terrorism program.
    • Assist with setting up and maintaining the HAZMAT program for Det 1 test programs.
    • Assist with all aspects of day to day running of the unit.
  • Provide briefings and updates to leadership on status.
