Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an Enterprise Architect to support the Command-and-Control Incident Management Emergency Response Application (C2IMERA) Program Office, which is within the USAF Kessel Run Division and located at Hanscom AFB, MA.

 

 

JOB STATUS: Full time – salaried 

WORK LOCATION:  Hanscom AFB, MA

 

Responsibilities:

 

- Coordinate data sharing and partnerships with external entities

- Oversee and make recommendations on integrating software tools

- Make recommendations pertaining to cloud distributed system and application processes

- Provide architectural insights that enable mission-enhancing data sharing

- Work with external partners and represent the program in key technical engagements

- Recommend courses of action to ensure operational availability, resilience, and security

- Contribute to product development by providing an enterprise lens to the product development process

- Make recommendations on applying advanced technical concepts, such enabling the application to function in a denied, degraded, intermittent, or limited (DDIL) bandwidth environment.

- Actively participate in the product development process and agile development ceremonies

- Make recommendations on applying Zero Trust principles to enhance product outcomes

 

Qualifications:

Citizenship:  Must be a US citizen

Clearance:  Must be able to obtain and maintain an active US security clearance 

  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant digital design experience
  • Experience on DoD or Air Force acquisition programs desired.
  • Demonstrated expertise with integrating software tools using RestfulAPI connection or message broker.
  • Demonstrated experience with successfully managing the development, sustainment, and enhancement of a Multi-Tenant Architecture with a Single Database.
  • Experience working in a Microservices environment with an emphasis on system reliability and be able to recommend managerial decisions based on operational conditions, including system errors and delays.
  • be able to apply detailed expertise of Cloud Distributed System and Application processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic team environment meeting end. users’ requirement.
  • Must be detail-oriented and have excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
