  • Coordinate activities with the Air Force Base (AFB) and Major Command (MAJCOM). Based on a national deployment schedule that is coordinated with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the contractor will coordinate and track MAJCOM and AFB orders for appropriate IP replacement services
  • Brief MAJCOM and AFB personnel on the IP ordering process through the Defense Information Services Agency (DISA) Storefront
  • Communicate government site preparation requirements to MAJCOMs and bases and, where needed, travel to bases to conduct site surveys
  • Depending on availability of funding, the contractor will ensure availability of funded Program Designator Codes (PDCs) within the DISA Storefront to fund new service orders and, as appropriate, fund site preparation or special construction to support new IP on-premises equipment installation. To support the above activities, the candidate will maintain a detailed schedule of activities for each USAF ATCT and RAPCON to include ordering, site preparation, initial IP equipment installation, IP cutover, and TDM equipment removal and circuit decommissioning
