Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Acquisition Program Manager to support the Base Information Transport Infrastructure (BITI) program, which is within the C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI) and located at Hanscom AFB, MA.




JOB STATUS: Full-Time; salaried




  • Assist in development and implementation of acquisition strategies.
  • Support development of program documentation such as POM inputs, communication plans, contract documentation, meeting minutes, program briefings, regulatory & statutory documents.
  • Support program monitoring activities such as tracking contract CDRLs, documentation review and coordination, status updates and reporting. Support program execution to include coordination of activities with stakeholders, setting up and administering program meetings.
  • Assist in the generation of acquisition documents. Documents may include, but are not limited to, Acquisition Decision Memorandums, Life Cycle Sustainment Plans, Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Program Baselines, Risk Management Plans, Program Management Reviews, SOW, PWS and Milestone Decision Briefs.
  • Contractor shall support Program Management Reviews, senior level meeting/reviews and IMP/IMS reviews. 
  • Support and maintain management reviews, meetings, and schedules. 



  • Knowledge of the roles and relationships within the DoD and Air Force acquisition stakeholder community and acquisition organizations as well as experience multiple higher headquarters leadership and program stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for gathering, analyzing, and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of acquisition programs
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, plans, etc.)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
  • Candidate will also need strong organizational skills.
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Must have an active US security clearance.
