Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a senior security manager for the Engineering, Professional, and Administrative Support Services contract, supporting the USAF Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division.

 

JOB DETAILS

LOCATION: San Antonio, TX        

JOB STATUS: FT

TRAVEL:  5%

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

 

  • Masters degree and 12 years of directly related experience, of which 5 years must be in DoD; or 15 years of directly related experience in lieu of masters degree, of which 5 years must be in DoD; or 20 years’ experience in lieu of degree.
  • Top secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • DoD acquisition security experience, including preparing program protection plans and security classification guides

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Prepare and maintain program protection plan and security classification guide.
  • Recommend, evaluate, maintain, and/or operate systems, policies, devices, procedures, and methods used for safeguarding information, property, personnel, operations, and materials.
  • Recommend and implement policies and procedures for analyzing and evaluating the character, background, and history of employees, candidates for employment, and other persons having or proposed to be granted access to classified or other sensitive information, materials, or work sites.
  • Provide security support to controlled facilities to include but not limited to:
    • exercising delegated access control to secure areas.
    • Assist in opening and closing control facilities.
    • Assist in arming and disarming facility alarm systems as required.
    • Assist in accomplishing end of day security checks.
