Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Manager to provide logistics and life cycle sustainment support to the Airborne Early Warning and Control (AWACS) program, which is within the Digital Directorate at Tinker AFB.

 

JOB DETAILS

LOCATION:     Tinker AFB, Oklahoma City, OK

JOB STATUS:  Full Time

TRAVEL: TBD

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a related field and at least three years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, three of which must be in the DoD
  • Possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative project team
  • Proficient Microsoft office skills
  • Knowledge of the DoD's integrated product support element structure
  • Familiarity with the Product Support Business Case Analysis (PS-BCA) and Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP) processes
  • Ability to lead a project team in completing complex projects
  • Knowledge of agency program planning, funding, and management information systems
  • Experience in developing a product support strategy for a major weapons systems a plus.
  • Candidate must have an active US security clearance

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide logistics/sustainment capabilities across all aspects of the Mission Planning program with emphasis on providing technical logistics/sustainment support to senior leadership.
  • Evaluate and develop logistics sustainment solutions to ensure terminal and terrestrial communications Operational Availability requirements are maintained.
  • Provide logistics and sustainment inputs to acquisition documents such as Statements of Objectives, Requests for Proposals, Engineering Change Proposals, Program Management Plans, ILSPs, SOWs, PWSs, Technical Requirements Documents (TRDs), CDRLs, SEPs, LCMPs, Technical Manuals (TMs), Technical Orders, FCA/PCA documents, and Depot Source of Repair (DSOR).
  • Direct/active participation and leadership as appropriate in logistics/sustainment technical discussions/meetings both internally and externally to the program office.
  • Provide support to government analyses, development of options, analysis of each option, and recommended solutions with in depth technical justification and background.
  • Provide technical support to the Mission Planning technical oversight of the Prime contractor's logistics support performance.
